Bachelor of Laws Honours (NQF Level 8)
Requirements
A candidate who wishes to enroll for the Bachelor of Laws Honours (NQF Level 8) should comply with the following criteria:
- The candidate must hold a valid Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary Level (NSSCO) or Namibian Senior Secondary Advanced Subsidiary (NSSAS), Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate Higher (NSSCH), Higher International General Certificate for Secondary Education (HIGCSE), International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE), or equivalent qualification.
OR
- Student should obtain a minimum of 28 points in his/her five (5) best subjects. One of the five (5) subjects should be English Language with at least a D Symbol or better, with at least 2 subjects on AS level.

- Admission can also be done on the basis of mature age entry. For a student to be admitted through the mature age entry route, they must satisfy the following conditions:

Admission Requirements: Mature Age Entry
- To be admitted through Mature Age Entry, applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Be at least 25 years of age in the year in which admission is sought.
• Provide evidence of 5 years’ relevant work experience in the field of law.
• Have at least a pass of 25 in Ordinary/NSSCH.
• Applicants are required to write a mature age entry test.
OR
- A candidate with a law diploma at NQF 6 may also be eligible for admission to the programme.

- Admission may also be considered through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), where non-formal and informal learning is measured for recognition across different contexts and certified against the requirements for credit, access, inclusion, or advancement in the formal education and training system.
